Švajcarska IT kompanija Octopus cloud planira da duplira broj programera u Pirotu

Posla će u Pirotu biti i za frontend i za backend programere

Švajcarska IT kompanija Octopus Cloud, koja ima svoju poslovnicu u Pirotu, u okviru Startup centra, planira da duplira broj zaposlenih u Pirotu, gde trenutno ima osam programera, kazao je za Pirotske vesti Ivan Todorović, tehnički projekt menadžer u ovoj kompaniji, koji iz Vroclava u Poljskoj, gde živi, upravlja poslovnicom u Pirotu. Ivan je inače Piroćanac i upravo zbog toga, želja mu je da što više naših talentovnih programera bude zapošljeno u Pirotu. 

IT pirot

Upravo zahvaljujući Todoroviću i još jednom vrsnom IT stručnjaku iz Pirota Miljanu Tomiću, koji su pre pet godina krenuli da rade za Octopus cloud, ova kompanija odlučila je da baš u Pirotu otvori svoju poslovnicu.

-Vrlo brzo smo napredovali sa projektom, trebalo nam je više ljudi pa smo počeli da zapošljavamo još naših ljudi tako da sada imamo osmoro ljudi, sedam programera i jednog administratora. Kompanija je zadovoljna našim radom i ljudskim resursima iz Srbije, a mi smo gledali da to sve bude fokusirano u Pirotu, u Coworking prostoru Startup centra. Ima potencijala u Pirotu, jedino što nam je sve teže da nađemo profile ljudi koje tražimo sa malo većim iskustvom. Na zadnjem sastanku u Švajcarskoj u sedištu kompanije Miljan i ja smo unapređeni u liderske pozicije i dato nam je poverenje da dalje širimo tim. Plan je da udvostručimo tim, trudićemo se da to sve budu ljudi iz Pirota, jer to bi nam najviše odgovaralo, a ako ne bude bilo moguće naći programere u Pirotu, moraćemo da otvorimo još jedno predstavništvo u Nišu. Takođe, pozivamo i studente koji završavaju studije da se vrate u Pirotu i možda započnemo saradnju. Vrlo smo fleksibilni pa je moguće kombinovati rad od kuće i rad u moderno opremljenim kancelarijama. Profili koji nam trebaju su .NET tehnologija, tu možemo da zaposlimo i juniora i mediora i seniora i takođe, što se tiče front-enda i Javascripta i konkretno Angular frejmworka, tu nam trebaju seniori, pa se nadam da ćemo i tu naći ljude iz Pirota. To su dve pozicije, ali više ljudi možemo da zaposlimo na tim pozicijama-kaže Todorović za Pirotske vesti.

Kompanija Octopus cloud se ne bavi outsorsingom za treća lica, već ima svoj proizvod.

-Bavimo se skeniranjem data centra, servera, skladištenjem podataka i na osnovu tih podataka obračunavanjem raznih licenci za Microsoft i druge softverske kompanije i proizvode. Sve sad ide polako u Cloud pa se bavimo i time, počeli smo sa inventarizacijom Azure, uskoro i Amazon servisa,  tako da je projekat vrlo interesantan i ima puno prostora za učenje i napredovanje-kaže Todorović.

Todorović kaže da sa zadovoljstvom prati razvoj IT sektora u Pirotu i da ga raduje da se sve češće organizuju kursevi za IT stručnjake, kako za početnike, tako i za naprednije programere, a obuke drži jedan od programera iz ove kompanije Milan Ranđelović.

-Mislim da je trenutno u toku kurs za naprednije programere i mislim da je to dobar način da se stvori baza ljudi za potrebe tog tržišta, koje je neumoljivo i stalno zahteva nove kadrove. Raduje podatak da Coworking prostor postaje polako tesan za sve firme koje tamo rade, tamo je i južnoafrička kompanija GreatSoft, koja se takođe sve više širi-kaže Todorović.

Inače, u pirotskoj Akademiji za tehničko vaspitačke studije, nekadašnjoj Pedagoškoj akademiji, od ove školske godine počinje se i sa obrazovanjem IT stručnjaka, u okviru smera Poslovni informacioni sistemi.
